2. Understand your Taste

From your starting point (imported or selected), we help you understand your musical DNA, who were your artists influenced by, what patterns and trends exist in what we know so far.

3. Explore more Music

We'll take a shot at curating albums and artists to help you dig in to what's out there. This should get better over time based on the feedback you give us after you've explored the Recommendations.

We trace artistic lineages and influences to help you discover how Joni Mitchell shaped Radiohead, or find the thread from Can to Vampire Weekend. Your recommendations come with context and connections.

Curated Recommendations

Instead of endless algorithmic suggestions, we provide thoughtful, periodic recommendations that respect your time and attention. Each discovery is chosen to meaningfully expand your musical world. We don't want to encourage mindless consumption, so when we provide these recomendations we'll wait for a while before the next batch is released.

Support Artists Directly

When you discover something you love, we connect you to platforms like Bandcamp where you can directly support the artists. We believe in fair compensation for creativity.

What Makes Us Different

Look, the siren song of unlimited music available at any time and any place is compelling, we have been through this ourselves, but something isn't right.

We miss the excitement of discovering a new artist because a (future) friend you randomly met one night insisted you listened to an artist and you pulled that thread until you found another that you wouldn't shut up about. We want to be that friend.
